General introduction of consortium
In IBenC eight partners from seven European countries collaborate to reach the project aims. IBenC partners have an established track record of fruitful cooperative work in the field of quality of cost information for patient care research and related disciplines. This will enable the development of a scientific evidence based methodology to support EU Member States to better organise their health systems.
Several members of the consortium already share a common successful history of collaboration and participate in the worldwide collaborative network interRAI (www.interrai.org). InterRAI promotes high quality health care for frail and disabled populations through rigorous research and the development of standardised clinical assessment instruments.
